The four-tower array of WGIR as viewed from across the Merrimack River, located within city limits just north of downtown. The WGIR61 transmitter building once housed the AM & FM studios which are now in a separate off-site office building.

Tuning houses fit nicely underneath each of the four towers. The corona balls of a lightning discharge spark gap can be clearly seen in this close-up (right).
